Building Income Little Bit At A Time!

Ask most people who runs a home based business and they will tell you that they are on their way to making a huge income working from home. However, if your goal is to make $100,000 a year or more you are going to have to start off with much smaller amount if you ever really want to reach your goal.

Making a huge 6 figures a year working from home is a lot like losing weight. You just have to do it one small bit at a time. If you are planning on losing 50 pounds, then you run the risk of getting completely overwhelmed and giving up halfway. However, if you focus on losing 1 or 2 pounds a week your goal will seem much more achievable and it will keep you focused and motivated until you reach your ultimate goal.

Therefore, rather than thinking about making $100,000 a year why not focus on making $500 a month. Once you’ve met that goal, then increase that amount to $1000 a month and so forth until you reach your $100,000 goal.

It is very important to remember that not all goals have to be monetary. An very beneficial goal could be to call 30 prospects every day from Monday to Friday about your business. Or write 5 articles a day. You could also make your goal to sign up 5 new people this month, that is very possible!

Once you focus on smaller numbers that you can execute faster you will get that feeling of meeting a goal and feeling more accomplished and that will be the energy you’ll need to be successful in the long term.

So don’t view your goal as one colossus mountain to be climbed. Just take a few steps every day in the right direction. It might seem like you are never going to get there but if you are consistent and focused on the smaller goals you will reach your destinations in no time at all!

An online marketing plan consists many steps, including strategic planning, situation analysis, customer analysis, market product focus, product positioning, pricing strategy, product distribution, and internet publicity.

1. Strategic Planning

When promoting your business online, you need to discover how your business is different from the other peoples by discovering the advantages that you have over your competitors.

This is basically learning about the market that you are in. This can be achieved though various studies such as Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis, conducting an industry analysis, and analyzing your competition. The more you know about the industry you are in and how you will be able to succeed in it, the better.

3. Customer Analysis

Set Realistic Goals For Success

Goal setting is so important when you are building a work at home business that you are constantly adjusting and fulfilling goals for yourself and your business. It’s also important that the goals you set must be realistic.

That doesn’t mean nonetheless that they have to be boring and mediocre. For instance, saying you want to make $5,000 month in your home business is a totally attainable goal for most people.

Now, suppose you want to make $100,000 in your first 6 months is not a realistic goal. When you set goals that are completely unrealistic you set yourself up for failure. When you fail it will be very, very difficult for you to get started again and you might just give up for good.

Therefore, that being said obviously you want to think about your goals and understand just how much work they’re going to take. You’ll also want to give yourself a reasonable time frame to accomplished it in. $100,000 in two years would be a more realistic goal. It is something that you can completely accomplish and in a reasonable time frame.

The difference between a realistic goal and having low expectations is that when you set realistic goals you are still extending out of your comfort zone and shooting for more. When you keep your expectations too low it means you don’t have confident in yourself enough to truly believe that you can achieve great things.

$30,000 a year is a acceptable goal to start out with. However, if that’s your ultimate goal that’s saying that you’re not worthy or able to make any more. Expect greater things for yourself but don’t just wish for them overnight.

Drive yourself to meet goals you never thought you could have but be realistic about the hard work and effort it’s going to take to get you there. Set realistic goals for yourself, that’s the recipe for success!

I am totally in agreement that a home based business is the best way to earn money from home and the easiest to get started. You got to spend more quality time with your family and recession proof your future. Here are a some reasons why;

The first reason is simple. It is extra income. Even if we are not in the midst of a very severe recession, we could all use a little extra secondary income.

With a second income you not only pay all of your bills but you can also do some of the enjoyable things that many people are missing out because of these hard economic times.

Another reason for having your home based business will recession proof your financial future is that you can never get fired when you work for yourself.

Many people who thought their jobs would always be secure are now finding themselves out of a job and joined the jobless. Truly no one’s job is safe. The best way you are assured of any sort of income is through a home based business. That is not doom and gloom but just an economical reality.

In addition to having a secondary income and a job you can’t get fired from, here are a few more good sound reasons why you should seriously think about starting a work from home business;

Spend less money on commuting, have your children at home instead of daycare, don’t spend money going out to lunch, you can start out slowly and build your income up before you leave your job.

Build Your Business Like A Child!

April 14, 2009 by

Too many individuals today active in a home based business feel that they have to be exceedingly smart to be successful in their business.

How could thinking like a child possibly help your business? Here are a few reasons why building your business like a child can help you see more results faster and grow your income in a huge way.

Children only have one goal in mind at any given moment. For instance if you’ve ever seen a little boy or girl in the toy aisle at Wal-Mart or Target they’re usually begging their mom or dad for a toy. In that moment, in the mind of a child, that toy is the most important thing on planet earth!

You can try and distract them but they want what they want and they’re not going to stop putting up a fight for it.

As a home based business proprietor you can learn a lot from thinking like a child do. If we as adults had one eighth the passion for success that that small child has for their toy we’d be hearing a lot more success stories in our businesses.

Children don’t have a plan B, and we shouldn’t either. Just about all Network Marketing success stories come from people who were at a point in their lives when they virtually had no other alternative but success.

At that moment in that toy aisle you will never hear a child say. “Well I really want that new doll but I do have several others at home I could play with I just forget about this one.”

Therefore, if your goal is to make $100,000 a year working from home you shouldn’t sell yourself short by saying… “Well I guess $60,000 is really all I need.”

Set a goal and allow yourself no other options but to succeed.

Another great examples is how children deal with people, they have no fear. If a kid wants to play with another kid he or she just walks up and asks. No fear, no beating around the bush. If he wants to play… great! If not at least he knows.

You have to talk to people about your business without any fear. After all the worst they can say is not interested?

Stop worrying about whether you are “bothering” people or trying to figure out exactly what they’re going to say. Who cares! You have something great in your hands and if they want it… great. If they don’t so what, you just move on.

Stop building your business like an adult and build it like a confident, excited child and your business will never be the same again!
