“NO” Means You Are Closer To Your Next Yes
“NO” Means You Are Closer To Your Next Yes
When you were a child asking for a new toy or a candy bar “no” equaled sadness and rejection. So the word “No” Is not exactly the most fun word to hear.
In your home based business you need to get excited about the no’s! That’s right, it is not a typo. The word no is actually your friend so learn to embrace it. Of course it is not as fun as everyone’s favorite word “yes” but really… no ain’t so bad!
You can’t build an income off of a bunch of “no” right? Well maybe not, but if you are hearing a lot of “no” every single day you can rest assured that you are doing the right thing.
You see if you are hearing a lot of that word it means you are talking to a lot of people and talking to a lot of people is always a good thing. Everyone can have success in a home based business, it is about finding the 2 or 3 people you need to really make your business irrupt.
So how do you find these people? Well, to begin with you are going to have to talk to numerous people. Do you know what happens when you talk to a lot of people about your home based business. You are going to hear a ton of “no”.
Now every time someone tells you no you can rejoice because that means you are just one step closer to your next yes. If you are only hearing one or two “no’s” a day you gotta step it up!
Consider what most people do is they get excited and the first time they hear a couple of rejections they get all frustrated and give up. You just have to power through the “no’s” as fast as you can and then the “yes” will seem to come a whole lot faster.
Therefore in closing learn to embrace the word “no”. Maybe even love it? OK so love might be too strong a word. But every “no” brings you that much closer to a big fat “yes!”
When Is About Your Business Less Is Always More
Whenever someone wants to know about your business you should give them as much information as possible right? Wrong.
When talking to someone about your opportunity less is always, always, always more. This is not to say that you should keep important information a secret or act like you are ashamed of your business.
Does a prospect need to know the type of business you are in? Yes.
Do they need to know what they’ll be doing if they become involved? Yes.
Do they need to know how much money they make on their 3rd level? NO!
I know that it’s super easy to get excited and you love to talk about your new business but don’t say too much and risk overwhelming a prospect.
Answer only the questions that are asked of you in an honest and professional way without giving people too many details that they don’t need.
This is especially true when it comes to marketing online. Think about the way how big companies advertise. They talk about their product, service, store whatever and then stop. They don’t tell you the starting salary for their employees, the directions to get to their nearest location and the name of the college their CEO when to school. It’s just too much information!
Are you starting to see less really is more when it comes to your home based business! So the next time you are talking to someone about your business remember to:
- Answer the questions they ask you honestly and then stop
- Do not get bogged down in the little details
- Do not assume prospects want to know something wait for them to ask
Follow these tips and avoid given out too much unnecessary information that can damage your business.

An Extra Income Make People Happier
Extra Income means an income that you can earn apart from the regular income from employment or normal work. This earning can be used to payoff your outstanding debts or build up a capital account or spend it on luxuries that you could only think about before.
When compare income levels in different countries, it is evident that the average income per person is less than $15,000 a year – in other words, where many people are near the breadline, extra Income really does make people happier and improves their lifestyle.
Countries which have average income above the normal subsistence level of approximately $15,000 a year, happiness seems to be income independent.
Why does this happen?
People always look at their income relatively with some norm or the other and the norm keeps rising all the time. And this norm is what increases the spending, more or less in direct proportion to the income. Two things drive up the norm with which people compare their incomes. One is the income that they themselves have experienced – which habituates them to higher standards of living. And the other is the income that their colleagues or neighbors get, and which they try to outdo.
Many extra income options available today are targeted to generate employment and are targeted specifically at people who can use their skills to make some extra money for themselves. To achieve a moderate success in generating more income one should be aware of their strengths and weaknesses.
One should ask themselves of an honest opinion of their strengths, what they excel at? For instance, if you are a computer literate person you could help your neighborhood in upgrade their computers or installation of software and you may offer computer lessons.
Today the internet and the general market have a lot of ideas for generating extra income. Network marketing in general market terms has been successful to some extent. Internet offers something similar similar to affiliate marketing. The internet also offers a host of other options like writing articles and reports, advertising and technical and non-technical jobs which can highly augment your regular income. The extra income that can be earned form these opportunities depends on how good your skills in the field of your choice.
Believe In Yourself If you Want Success
Believe in yourself if you want to have success in your home based business. So how do you find the way to believe in yourself while other people like friends and family don’t?
It is hard to deal with your home based business when a friend or a family member doubts you or your business. Sometimes is enough to make you want to give up on your dreams and just quit all together.
While most of us want the support of our friends and family it is important to know that just because they don’t believe in us doesn’t mean our dreams still can’t come true.
Keep in mind that some of the people in your life may have had a negative experience with their businesses before. That will no doubt play a part in how they feel about your new business. Just don’t let it be a negative factor for you.
There are many reasons why people fail in home based businesses. Perhaps your friend or family member was just part of a bad company. Maybe they didn’t give it enough time and energy to really see any results. Whatever the reason you need to know that just because some people have not been successful before does NOT mean that you can not be successful.
Above everything else you want your family to know that you love them and respect their advice. (Even if you’re not going to follow it.) There is no need to get upset or have a debate just to defend your business.
The best thing to do is just to work hard and prove them wrong. Nothing makes a negative person eat their words like RESULTS. when they see you making money…they will come around soon enough.

The Pro’s And Con’s Of Working From Home
Whether you are consider working from home or joining an affiliate network marketing company you are going to need to know the pro’s and cons of working from home.
Here are the Pro’s of working from home:
1. No boss! Technically you will have the boss, it will just be you! Think of the joy you will have when you are finally able to say goodbye to your boss and your boring job.
2. More time with your family. This is a big reason for most people. Especially if you have kids or a spouse. You just can’t put a price tag on being able to spend all 24 hours of the day with your children.
3. No more travel back and forth to work! No more sitting in traffic at 7:30 in the morning stressing out about being late for work and getting yelled at. And for that matter… no more getting up so early!
4. Wear your pajamas to work. You can if you want to… need I say more?
5. Better and longer vacations! Gone are the days of short weekend trips or cheap vacations. When you work for yourself you can go on a vacation for as long as you wish and guess what… you will actually have the money to do whatever you want to do!
