Work At Home Jobs Or Jobs Where You Can Bring Your Child?
I need a job NOW! My husband is acting very shady, threatening divorce/custody (he’s done this before, so I really don’t know if he’s serious, but I need to take it seriously). I am a stay at home mom. I need work, but can’t afford to be paying hundreds in childcare while I work. Does anyone know of a legitimate way to work from home or a job other than working at a daycare or running a daycare where I would be able to make money now?! Thanks.

It depends on your education level and work experience…
What are you qualified to do? Start there by thinking through what you could do if children weren’t an object. Then start applying everywhere. You can probably get government assistance with child care if you do divorce. Otherwise, talk to human services because that soon to be ex-husband of yours will have to help out with child support.
I know being a stay at home mom is noble and good for the children but if it is a choice between being a stay at home mom in a bad marriage or getting out and rising to the occasion… Your children are better off having a working mom then being raised in a toxic household.
I truly hope you two can work out your problems, but if you can’t I am sure you will be just fine! If he threatens to leave all the time but you think it is just b*ll s***t then maybe you should make a stand and say you won’t tolerate being threatened anymore and the next time he does it walk out and stay with your family for a few days. I think he would get the picture quick that enough is enough.
I wish you much good luck!

I maybe try hiring a babysitter for a few hours while you work. There are some great people out there that will work part time for cheap. You can post an add on craigslist (craigslist.org) with the amount you feel comfortable with paying. Also think of it this way he has to pay child support if he leaves and since yu are a stay at home mom spousal support may be ordered as well depending on what state that you are in. He cannot leave you broke with his kids knowing that you are not working the courts will make him pay.

To make real money, you need a real job. Find a nice family daycare, licensed by the state and run in a home (check Craigslist). You’d pay between $100-$150 a week. This is the way it’s done. Nobody brings their kids to work.

Hi there!
Yes, there are many scams online so be careful. Most of them make promises that are too good to be true and some are just plain scams / lies.
I have successfully done real customer service work at home, on the phone, for the last 5 years. It is not my full time work (I’m a minister full time), but a great part time supplement.
I make $10 – $12 / hour for answering inbound customer service / sales calls.
I am able to select my hours 24/7 and I’m able to work for large companies like Pizza Hut, HSN, Sears, and just about ANY infomercial.
I’ve been there and done that with many work at home scams so I consider myself an expert on that too, unfortunately!
There are 5 companies that really do help you start your own home based virtual call center.
Contact me and I’ll be glad to send you more thoughts and some feedback.
God bless,
Brett
