Are you looking added revenue? Is your internet business need additional product or services to promote? Then, affiliate marketing programs could be just the answer for you. With these type of programs, you won’t worrying about products or service to promote. All you need is a website with decent contents to sell products from other companies as an affiliate marketer to start earning money!

Affiliate marketing is a business relationship between a merchandiser and their affiliates. With affiliate marketing, the affiliate agrees to send some traffic to a merchant’s offers, and if that traffic is turned into positive action, like a purchase or sign up at the merchant’s website, the affiliate will be compensated. Compensation may be a fixed fee or a percentage of the sales generated.

This is a win win benefit for the merchants and its affiliates. Affiliate merchandising has become one of the most popular internet marketing techniques nowadays. As a matter of fact, just about all merchandiser or retail merchant website now provides an affiliate platform that any online marketer can sign on.

Most affiliate marketing programs pay you an one-time commission for every sale or sign up you brought to the merchandiser. The commissions can be high as 75%, for instance, Clickbank® programs. Some marketing programs might pay you a determined fee. Other may pay for a click or lead, this usually pays a smaller fee, no greater than a dollar or so. The beauty of this sort of program is your visitors don’t have to sign up or purchase anything in order for you to get compensated.

A different kind of affiliate marketing program is call residual marketing program. These type of programs typically pays a smaller percentage of commission for every sale made by the affiliate. This usually comes in the area of 5% to 15%, however, the merchants offer these kind of programs typically pay you ongoing (residual) commissions from an one-time affiliate originated sale! What this means, for the same effort you made in promoting a normal affiliate marketing program, and get paid once, but get ongoing commission for a residual program!

Therefore, the benefit of promoting residual affiliate marketing programs is continue on going commission!

And so, are residual programs worthy of promoting? Unquestionably yes, as you literally get additional income in an on going basis! Are residual affiliate programs right for you? Perhaps. Only you can decide, it would be foolish of you to dismiss these type of revenue affiliate marketing programs the residual income it can provide.

Six Steps to Setting up a Money Blog

Making money blogging doesn’t happen overnight, but with patience and persistence it can be a fun way to earn money without leaving the house. There are six steps to setting up a successful blog and making money from it, which are…

1. Decide on a niche
2. Set up a site
3. Produce Content
4. Be Patient (Yes, this is a real step)
5. Add whistles and bells
6. Monetize

Let’s look at each step in greater detail.

Decide on a niche

A great niche for you is one that you are both passionate about and has enough people willing to spend enough money for the niche to be profitable. Once you have decided on a niche that has enough people who spend money in it, consider the competition in that niche. If you are interested in an extremely competitive niche, “such as health,” don’t be discouraged by the heavy competition. In that case, you can choose a “sub-niche.” A sub-niche, for example, would be people of a certain age group, ethnic group, religious group, or local area within the general niche. For example, a sub-niche of “health” would be “University students interested in health.”

Set up a site at WordPress, Blogger, or Typepad

Although there are numerous ways of setting up blog sites, WordPress, Blogger, and Typepad are the best. If you have limited resources, and you have never set up a blog before try Blogger or WordPress.com. They are both free, very powerful, and easy to use. For more experienced bloggers, who want a top-notch blog I recommend WordPress.org or Typepad. Be warned, WordPress.org does require that you have your own hosting account and domain name, which both cost money, and Typepad requires a monthly fee.

It’s a good idea to include “like” buttons and other such social media buttons on the site so that readers who like what they see can share your greatness with their social groups. Additionally, consider having a newsletter sign up. When you begin to build a newsletter email list you can continuously engage your readers by sending them emails about new posts, upcoming events, and eventually you can market to them too.

Produce awesome content

Producing great content requires considering who your readers are, and considering what they will be interested in learning about. Be sure to give your readers information that they are looking for and will appreciate.

Writing is not the only content that bloggers produce, consider making videos too. Often ideas or directions can be communicated much more clearly through a video than in the written word.

Include pictures of either yourself of something relevant to your post. A great resource for free pictures is stock xchng.

Find awesome information. If you have access to sources of information other than regular search engine results include that type of unique and fresh information. What often happens on the internet is what I call “content recycling.” Content recycling is a phenomenon where the same information is reprinted by everyone on the internet simply because everyone decided to search for information on their topics from the top ranked sites in Google. Fresh content engages readers and it draws the attention of the search engines.

Give it some time

Before jumping to monetize a new blog, it’s a good idea to let it gain some momentum. After a few months of producing great content, you can hope to gain some exposure through search engines and social media. Monetizing a site too early can stunt it’s search engine rankings, so continuously producing great content without monetizing is a strategically valuable step.

Add whistles and bells (optional)

Once you have spawned some interest in your blog you can begin to tactfully flaunt it. Consider adding any of the Facebook social plugins or include your Twitterfeed on your site itself. Also, if you are getting great feedback from readers, you can add a page of things that your readers are saying about you, accompanied by their pictures, of course.

Monetize

Once you have built of a base of people that trust you, they are eligible to be your customers. Now you can monetize your blog with banner advertisements. It is also possible to affiliate market through links in your blog posts.
It is important to monetize the blog tactfully. Here are two good advertizing rules to follow…

* Only recommend products that you really know about

* Produce enough great content that the advertizing remains secondary and the content remains primary.

Conclusion

Of course each niche is different, and each blogger is different, so in addition to these 6 steps you are free to be creative, experiment, and have fun with your blog.

Enjoy Your Job And Be Happy

There is this old Chinese proverb: “Find a job you enjoy doing and you will not have to work a day in your life”. The meaning is that you will be so busy in enjoying your job that you will not consider it work at all. For sure this is a realistic argument and we could also add that a person who enjoys his job is likely to be happier as well and abettor person than one who sees work as a necessary discomfort.

It has been reasoned by philosophers that the purpose of life is to look for pleasure and to avoid anguish. Therefore, it is obvious that humans look for what gives them enjoyment. In that case it must be true that we look for work that we enjoy, yet they may not pay well, instead of choosing a less enjoyable job with higher wages. Is this always possible? Can we real find jobs that are indeed enjoyable?

Money is also important. There can be little happiness for a person who does not have enough money. For a person to enjoy life he certainly needs money, and if the means of obtaining money is somewhat unpleasant – like working in a pig farm, should he abandon his job and seek a job that he would enjoy? If all of us seek only jobs that are enjoyable, then no one wants to be a undertaker or a coal miner?

We should learn how to enjoy what we are doing, instead of seeking what we’d love to do. To learn to love a job that pays a lot of money, one could think of all the joys one could have and remember that it’s the job that make all these possible and from there see the job is actually enjoyable after all.

Psychologists tell us that what gives us pleasure is a matter of programming. We have been programmed to listen to a certain type of music; like certain foods and even people. If this is true that would be possible to program ourselves to enjoy our jobs – indeed if there is a well-paying job that we cannot see as enjoyable, but which gives a great deal of money, we can see it as enjoyable.

Therefore, we could say that while it is true that enjoying work is more important that making money, it would be wonderful if we all could enjoyed the job and earn a lot of money as well. Enjoying ourselves is a matter of mental attitude: we can find enjoyment anywhere if we look hard enough. But if we were given a clear choice that we can accept only one or the other, I would agree that enjoying a job is more important than money.

If you have a website with a decent amount of visitors, by placing banner and or text advertisements on your website can increase your monthly revenue greatly.

This option is better than being an affiliate for several companies because you will get one monthly fee no matter how many of your visitors go to their website or make a purchase. The main thing is for you to create an informative website filled with useful articles, so that you can generate a high amount of returning visitors. As your site rises on search engine rankings, the blank space on your site will begin to look more and more appealing to advertisers.

Anyone can be an affiliate, but to have a banner placed in a good spot on a high-ranking website will bring in the most revenue for a company. Once you have established yourself as a site that can be profitable for them, you can rent out different spaces on your site for advertisers to place banner or text ads.

Each month you will be paid the same fee, no matter how much they do or do not make off of you.

Making Money With Content Directories

Content directories are websites that house free articles. These articles are usually post there by Business owners and affiliate marketers to promotion their businesses and or offers. Each article has the owners byline placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their website for additional information.

Content directories are a great place to put your articles so that they will make you money. By using this process, people who are interested in your product or service will see your article, view you as an expert in the subject, and will visit your website. Even if you cannot write or do not have any knowledge on the subject on which you are promoting (for example for you run an affiliate website), you can always hire a writer to do the work for you. Getting quality articles written will be expensive up front, but they will pay for themselves in the long run, either through affiliate sales or selling your own services, and everything from then on is pure profit.

For example. Imagine that you are a stay home mom working from home. You write an article on a product or service you are promoting and place it on various article directories. Those who are looking for the subject you wrote about will read your article, see that you have the product or service that may be of interest for them, then visit your website or contact you via e-mail. Your article just gained you a new customer who may use whatever you are promoting, but will definitely make you a nice profit at least once.

What is more, since you have posted it on a free article directory, others who have affiliate websites about your subject will use your article for their website. Since they must attach your byline to it, this will bring you even more exposure and a very nice back link for every website that re-posts your article.

There are numerous content directories out there for you to use. The more articles you submitted the more exposure you get. It will eventually help to bring more traffic and customers to your website, which will lead to new sales and more profit.
